Over the Memorial Day weekend, my in-laws came to visit us from KS. We went to the beach for 3 straight days & they loved it. My mother-in-law loves to walk the beach & collect seashells. So I decided to make her something to remember her visit.
I pinned this idea & pinterest! To see this pin & the tutorial click HERE!
I basically came home & washed all the seashells. Then sorted the seashells by colors. My mother-in-law picked out 2 frames. From there I chose enough seashells for the 2 frames. I spray painted a clear coat on the seashells & got to work. I just followed the directions from my pin!
And ta-da!!!! Bubble wrapped them & mailed them to KS!
(Sorry for the lovely iPhone pics!!!)
I also made my mother-in-law this wreath while she was here! This is my 4th burlap wreath & I really enjoy making them! This is very basic & she can change the bow to match the month or seasons. This was not cheap to ship to KS:-)
That’s it for me from the past week! Hopefully I get some more things done this week!

Beautiful! We love to collect shells too. I finally just put them in my planters instead of mulch, love the idea of framing them… next time!

I love your shell craft! I've been collecting shells for years and have tried to figure out ways to actually use them.
